Welcome to Hawthorne
The City of Hawthorne could easily be called the “Hub of the South Bay”. Hawthorne currently has a population of nearly 87,000 within a 6 square mile area. It’s located near the Los Angeles International Airport, connected by rail to Downtown LA and the Port of LA, and surrounded by the San Diego (I-405), Harbor (I-110), and Glenn M. Anderson (I-105) Freeways. By virtue of its location, Hawthorne allows easy access to all that Southern California has to offer: Culture, Pro Sporting Events, Entertainment, Mountains for skiing and hiking, and, of course, the beach. Temperatures tend to be pleasant here because of their proximity to the coastline. The median home value is approximately $650,000.
